Scotia Med-Tec is managed by Stuart McRoberts who has more than 30 years of experience in Life Sciences, In Vitro Diagnostics, and the medical devices industry here in the UK and internationally.

Stuart has not only worked for some of the largest global medical technology companies in the world, including Abbott Laboratories, Philips, Becton Dickinson, and Thermo Fisher Scientific, but he has also managed startups and market disruptors to ensure that innovative, life-changing heathtech and biotechnology is rapidly diffused and widely adopted - transforming how people manage their health.

From clinical diagnostics and near patient testing/point of care diagnostic testing (POCT) to digital home-monitoring technology, Stuart has a proven track record of building successful teams and delivering robust and sustainable business growth in this sector. As a leader Stuart is passionate about developing people to be the best they can be.
